Job summary

Blue United Sourcing is seeking an Associate Medical Physicist to join its established Radiation Oncology team in Valdosta, GA. This full-time, direct-hire role offers a salary of approximately $175,000 per year and a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or on-call.

The ideal candidate has ABR Part 1 completed, with residency experience or advancement and plans to pursue board certification, working alongside an ABR-certified physicist.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Medical Physics (or related physical science) preferred.
• Successful completion of ABR Part 1.
• Medical Physics residency completed or well advanced.
• Board eligible for ABR or ABMP certification.
• Current healthcare provider CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate radiation therapy equipment and verify safe operation.
• Perform and verify calculations for external beam therapy and brachytherapy.
• Support quality assurance activities and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with the clinical team on treatment planning and patient safety.

Education

Graduate degree in Medical Physics

ABR Part 1 completed

Medical Physics residency completed
