Job summary

Blue United Sourcing is seeking a Junior Medical Physicist to join its Radiation Oncology team in Valdosta, GA. The role focuses on treatment planning, dosimetry, QA, and regulatory compliance under the supervision of an ABR-certified physicist.

The ideal candidate has ABR Part 1 completed and is progressing toward full board certification. The position offers a Monday–Friday 40-hour schedule with no weekends or call at an outpatient cancer center.

Qualifications

• ABR Part 1 completed or in progress toward certification.
• Residency completed or sufficiently advanced for ABR certification.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate radiation therapy equipment and verify safe operation.
• Perform and verify external beam and brachytherapy dosimetry.
• Document clinical dosimetry and QA activities.
• Support radiation safety and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with the clinical team on treatment planning and patient safety.
