Advantest America in San Jose, CA is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to support the development of next-generation semiconductor automated test equipment. You will contribute to mechanical design, create parts and assemblies in SolidWorks, and produce engineering drawings for validation.

The role involves planning and executing DoEs, supporting product qualification and validation, and performing FEA, CFD, and tolerance analyses to verify design performance.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience with Solidworks.
• Hands-on experience (working with tools, etc.).
• Knowledge of error analysis.
• Python coding with Raspberry PI applications.

Responsabilités

• Mechanical design using Solidworks, including 3d part and assembly modeling, part and assembly drawing generation.
• Planning and execution of DoEs during product development investigations.
• Execute of design validation and product qualification activities. This includes hands‑on activities such as building and testing prototypes.
• Perform analysis using FEA, CFD, and tolerance analysis in CAD.
