Job summary

Westpak, Inc. in San Jose, CA seeks a Mechanical Engineer II to design and maintain mechanical and electromechanical systems, and lead fabrication of test fixtures for internal and external customers. You will support qualification activities, mentor fellow engineers, and ensure calibration programs and QA compliance.

Requires a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and 3–5 years of lab experience; proficiency in SolidWorks and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of working laboratory experience in mechanical engineering.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong math, analysis, and computation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, procure, implement, and maintain mechanical/electromechanical systems.
• Lead fabrication of test fixtures and ensure proper documentation.
• Support calibration, QA, and project qualification activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge.
