Job summary

Re:Build Manufacturing in Wilmington, MA is seeking a mechanical engineer to develop components from concept to production. You will work with a team of scientists and engineers to design, prototype, test, and refine products using CNC machining, 3D printing, and other fabrication tools.

You will gain experience across aerospace and defense, medical, energy, and automation projects, contributing to hands-on culture and rapid iteration in a collaborative consulting environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Solidworks CAD experience preferred.
• Experience with manufacturing processes (machining, injection molding, sheet metal, casting) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components for prototypes and production.
• Collaborate with engineers and clients to translate concepts into feasible designs.
• Build and test prototypes using CNC machines, 3D printers, and other tools.
• Iterate designs based on testing results and manufacturability feedback.
