Job summary

Duke Energy in Indiana is seeking an entry-level engineer to support Electrical, Control systems and plant processes for a facility featuring GE 7F Combustion Turbines and HRSGs. You will provide day-to-day operational and maintenance support for the Power Block and help develop preventive maintenance plans and procedures.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background is preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork and independent work capability are required.
• ABET-accredited BS in Engineering is required; MS can substitute for BS.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational and maintenance support of the station's Power Block.
• Develop preventive maintenance and outage plans, update procedures and technical documents.
• Identify and manage O&M and capital project scopes.
• Coordinate with OEMs and internal teams; review inspections and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with PSM Guidelines.
• Provide engineering analysis, troubleshooting, and technical support.
• Participate in safety reviews, hazard analyses, and incident investigations.
• Oversee equipment performance and communicate maintenance needs.
