Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Missouri. You will assist with routine design of less complex projects, apply drafting standards, and work under close supervision with cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, 1+ year of relevant experience, and EIT registration preferred. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university.
• 1+ year of relevant industrial mechanical engineering experience.
• EIT registration strongly preferred; PE preferred upon eligibility.
• Proficiency with CAD drafting standards and piping design knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist in routine design of less complex mechanical engineering tasks under supervision.
• Support stress analysis, piping estimates, and material procurement specs.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies for project efficiency.
• Prepare preliminary design calculations and material take-offs.
• Assist drafting group with layout and detailing; review vendor drawings.
• Coordinate with design leaders to ensure timely project completion.
