Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• EIT registration strongly preferred; PE preferred upon eligibility.
• 1+ years of relevant industrial mechanical engineering experience.
• Knowledge of piping materials, valve sizing, and supports.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist in routine design of less complex engineering tasks under close supervision.
• Review vendor and discipline drawings for mechanical input.
• Perform stress analysis and piping estimates at a conceptual level.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies to determine efficient approaches.
• Produce preliminary designs and material take-offs for estimates.
• Collaborate with design leaders to ensure timely information flow.
