Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking an Engineer on the components team to support reactor mechanical components and primary system analysis. The role involves designing and analyzing with leads, PMs, and customers, located in Cranberry, PA with hybrid work.

You will coordinate activities, prepare design and safety documentation, and occasionally travel to customer and vendor sites to provide on-site support and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• 0 years of experience.
• 1 year of experience with materials science beneficial, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Analytical calculations and evaluations using engineering tools and methods.
• Documentation related to calculations and analysis.
• Design documentation for safety and non-safety related hardware like manufacturing drawings, functional and design specifications, and qualification reports.
• Occasionally travel to customer and manufacturing vendor sites to provide on-site support, deliver presentations, and aid in issue resolution.
• Coordinate activities with leads, project managers, and customers.
