You will prepare calculations, specifications, and reports, and support system engineering and equipment-sizing tasks for complex plant facilities.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, General Engineering, or Systems Engineering with strong background in thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, power engineering and energy conversion.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, design techniques, and fabrication drawings to support project design.
• Strong numerical computation skills and proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and power plant engineering to project work.
• Prepare calculations, specifications, and technical reports to support client recommendations.
• Conduct equipment sizing, optimization evaluations, and selection per project needs.
• Support project teams with system engineering, including design, modification, and analysis of mechanical systems for power plants.
• Travel to client and vendor offices for design reviews and site verification when required.
