Job summary
PAE in Boston, MA, is seeking a mechanical engineer to design and document mechanical systems, develop layouts, and perform thermal simulations and calculations to support projects.
You will provide task-based support for engineering initiatives and assist with construction administration under the guidance of project leads, collaborating with other disciplines to meet codes and client expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) certification or ability to obtain
- Proficiency or ability to develop skills in Revit, AutoCAD, and industry‑standard simulation tools
Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical system designs, layouts, and documentation.
- Perform thermal simulations and calculations.
- Provide task-based support for engineering projects.
- Assist with construction administration under guidance of project leads
