Job summary

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering degree.
• 0–2 years engineering and design experience.
• EIT certification preferred but not required with a plan to obtain within 1–2 years.
• MEP industry design experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC system design.
• Familiar with ASHRAE/ASME/NFPA/NEC; preferred IBC/IMC/IPC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Read drawings, floor plans, specifications, and equipment details.
• Develop HVAC designs from concept through construction.
• Provide mechanical design, evaluation, and planning of systems.
• Perform heating and cooling load calculations and energy analysis.
• Produce BIM and drawings for MEP systems.
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, and contractors.
