Salas O’Brien is seeking an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to support all project phases from inception to construction completion. You will work with senior designers and engineers, gaining experience and mentorship while contributing to designing mechanical and HVAC systems.

Requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited) and 0–3 years’ experience; EIT preferred. On-site role with up to 25% travel; salary $68k–$74k USD plus benefits and potential bonuses.

Qualificações

• BS Mechanical Engineering degree from ABET-accredited program
• 0-3 years professional Mechanical Engineering experience
• EIT Certification preferred but not required
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications
• Experience with CAD, Revit, Bluebeam Revu, or other Mechanical system modeling/drafting software is highly preferred

Responsabilidades

• Implement designs as directed by senior designers and engineers
• Collaborate with technical staff to design and detail new systems, ensuring accuracy and coordination
• Participate in on-site observations, information gathering, and interactions with clients and contractors
• Design mechanical and HVAC systems following directions from senior designers or engineers
• Coordinate designs with other disciplines to ensure constructability and maintainability
