Job summary

Salas O’Brien is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to participate in project design from proposal to construction drawings across diverse industries. The role requires leadership on projects, collaboration with disciplines, and the ability to manage client expectations. Travel up to 25% is anticipated.

You will work under the Engineering Department Manager and contribute to design of mechanical systems for data centers, healthcare, education, and more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• FE registration is required, PE preferred.
• Three years of consulting engineering experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Project support and management across multiple industrial processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet client requirements.
• Prepare design documents, cost estimates, and proposals.
• Communicate with customers and project teams to maintain alignment.
• Mentor junior staff and lead others in engineering projects.
