Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc is hiring a Mechanical/Dimensional Inspector I in Rochester, NH. The role performs routine mechanical inspections per technical docs, working with a team and limited supervision to determine product acceptability.

You will collect inspection data, load parts into equipment, verify features and tolerances, and report results while following safety and ISO procedures and contributing to 5S. Regular on-site attendance is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic proficiency in blueprint reading and MS Word/Excel.
• Familiarity with GD&T symbols per ASME Y14.5.
• Able to clearly convey ideas both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Collect and review inspection data to ensure component integrity and investigate discrepancies.
• Locate programs, load components into inspection equipment, run basic inspection programs, and report results.
• Identify features for inspection and correctly assign dimensional values and tolerances from prints.
• Contribute to primary inspection areas after training.
• Communicate issues and corrective actions to supervision, verbally and in writing.
• Participate in and sustain 5S Standards and follow allSafety and ISO procedures.
