Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 3–6 years of related experience.
• Excellent inspection proficiency and willingness to expand to others.
• Identify datum structures and interpret GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Strong blueprint reading and tolerance interpretation.
• Apply external specifications in inspection processes.
• Timely task completion and follow-through.
• Communicate effectively with supervision on problems and corrective action.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Team player with collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify inspection data with double gaging to ensure component integrity and resolve discrepancies.
• Run moderately complex setups and inspection programs; diagnose and resolve issues.
• Interpret dimensional tolerances and apply them to components of enhanced complexity.
• Participate in root-cause analysis to prevent customer escapes.
• Engage in 5S and sustainment activities; coordinate maintenance needs.
• Maintain regular on-site attendance and punctuality.
• Support other areas or facilities as needed by business needs.
• Overtime or alternate shifts may be required.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience, and 3-6 years of related work experience
