Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent plus 3-6 years of related work experience.
• Possess high fluency in the primary area of inspection and ability to develop capability to participate in others.
• Ability to identify datum structures and correctly interpret ASME Y14.5 GD&T with limited assistance.

Responsibilities

• Verify inspection data with double gaging to ensure component integrity and resolve discrepancies.
• Run moderately complex setups and inspection programs; diagnose and resolve issues in output and calibration.
• Interpret dimensional tolerances and apply them to components of enhanced complexity.
• Participate in problem-solving teams to drive to root cause of quality failures and prevent customer escapes.
• Contribute to 5S workplace organization and sustainment activities on the shop floor.
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required.
• May work overtime or alternate shifts based on business needs.
