Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc is seeking a Mechanical/Dimensional Inspector I in New Hampshire. The role focuses on performing routine mechanical inspections per technical documentation with established methods, contributing in a team setting while maintaining independence.

The candidate will review data, identify features, and report results, with opportunities to participate in various inspection programs. On-site shifts are provided with standard manufacturing environment exposure.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, related experience and/or training.
• Basic proficiency in blueprint reading.
• Familiarity and basic understanding of GD&T symbology per ASME Y14.5.
• Fluent in setup of simple parts and use of basic inspection equipment.
• Strong time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect and review inspection data to ensure component integrity and resolve discrepancies.
• Locate programs, load components, run basic inspection programs, and report results.
• Identify features for inspection and assign dimensional values and tolerances.
• Contribute to primary areas of inspection after training.
• Communicate problems and corrective actions to supervision in writing and verbally.
• Participate in and sustain 5S Standards.
• Follow Safety and ISO procedures.
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality.
• May work in other areas or overtime based on business needs.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
