dbrinc in Houston seeks a Mechanical Designer I to support design development and BIM drafting. You will apply design standards, prepare preliminary calculations, and contribute to equipment sizing under guidance from a Project Manager and mentors.

The role involves creating drawings, organizing project files, and researching design options while learning DBR practices and code considerations on a team-based environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering or architectural fields.
• 1 year related work experience with technical/assoc degree can qualify.
• 2 years related work experience with HS diploma/GED can qualify.

Responsabilidades

• Learn and apply DBR design standards per design manual and PAL directions.
• Provide schematic design information to Project Manager or Mentor, incl. preliminary calculations and equipment sizing.
• Make calculations using engineering formulas and software; have calculations reviewed by mentor.
• Research and select equipment per mentor recommendations and fill schedules.
• Prepare drawings and sketches for final drawings; organize project files for access.
