MiniMed is seeking a motivated engineer at the start of their career focused on SolidWorks drafting, fixture design, and manufacturing processes. The role is based in Northridge, CA, and is a full-time on-site position.

You will work with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to launch new lines and improve existing processes. The role emphasizes hands-on learning, mentorship, and growth in tolerance analysis, DFM, and automation, with opportunities to participate in IQ/OQ/PQ

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; 0 years of experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 20-30% domestically and internationally.

Aufgaben

• Create, revise, and maintain detailed engineering drawings in SolidWorks.
• Design and develop fixtures, jigs, and tooling for production, prototyping, and test setups.
• Support ECOs by updating drawings, BOMs, and related documentation.
• Build and maintain SolidWorks part files, assemblies, and configurations for tooling and components.
• Participate in design reviews to develop engineering judgment.
• Maintain accurate engineering records, including drawings and calculations, per quality system requirements.
• Seek mentorship from senior engineers and grow in tolerance analysis, DFM, materials selection, and automation.
• Assist with IQ/OQ/PQ equipment qualification by supporting tests and recording results.
• Collaborate with quality, manufacturing, and senior engineers to support lean manufacturing opportunities.
