Job summary

MiniMed is seeking an entry-level Operations Engineer to support SolidWorks drafting, fixture design, and drawing creation within a regulated medical device environment. You will collaborate with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to bring production lines online and optimize processes in a growth-focused team.

The role emphasizes mentorship, hands-on learning, and exposure to ECOs, process validation, and lean manufacturing opportunities as you develop into a manufacturing engineer.

Qualifications

• Experience with SolidWorks drafting and drawing creation in a regulated environment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and apply GD&T.
• Exposure to fixture design and production tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create, revise, and maintain SolidWorks drawings per GD&T and standards.
• Assist design of fixtures, jigs, and production tooling from concept to release.
• Support ECOs by updating drawings, BOMs, and related docs.
• Maintain SolidWorks files and design history with organized records.
• Participate in design reviews and integrate feedback from seniors.
