Job summary

Bowhead Family of Companies seeks a Junior Systems Engineer (MBSE) to join our Tactical Communications and Electromagnetic Warfare (TCE) team in Stafford, VA. The role provides systems engineering knowledge and guidance to the program management office.

Responsibilities include planning and coordinating engineering work, developing specifications, supporting technical reviews, and maintaining model-based artifacts.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of systems engineering experience with MBSE.
• Experience with Modeling & Simulation and architecture development.
• Proficient in requirements analysis and traceability.
• Strong communication and teamwork across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate detailed engineering work.
• Develop specifications and plans to support acquisition documentation.
• Support technical findings and program decisions.
• Coordinate with government and contractor teams on MBSE artifacts.
• Maintain traceability across requirements, architecture, and verification.
