Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months experience in construction materials testing or a related field.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history.
• Must obtain ACI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must obtain Nuclear Density Gauge certification within 6 months of hire.
• Successful completion of internal safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials (soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, steel).
• Communicate with project manager, technicians, client and contractor representatives regarding site and testing results.
• Transport samples to the laboratory with documentation for testing and analysis.
• Prepare, tabulate, and submit data in written and digital reports for daily project transmission.
• Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles and work areas; adhere to safety standards.
