Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil, Structural, Naval Architecture, Ocean or Mechanical Engineering.
• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain security clearance.
• Experience with stability analyses and related rules/regulations.
• Experience with engineering software for calculations and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ship structure, stability, and load line reviews.
• Perform engineering design review and analysis assignments.
• Prepare principal calculations and FE analyses to predict vessel integrity.
• Develop FE models using FEMAP and solve analyses with NASTRAN.
• Prepare technical reports and ensure ABS standards compliance.
