Job summary

HLBMA LLC is seeking an Equipment Technician to perform preventive maintenance (PM) on production equipment, conduct inspections, lubrication, and parts replacement on a set schedule to ensure optimal machine performance.

The role supports continuous production through troubleshooting, equipment modification, and basic mechanical and electrical work, while maintaining maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts inventory for the Technology teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational certificate or Associate degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance inspections, lubrication, parts replacements, and other PM tasks on a set schedule.
• Prevent equipment failures by completing routine line inspections and repairing identified issues.
• Communicate, plan corrective action for, and elevate issues identified during inspections in a timely manner.
• Perform repairs to machines, including equipment, filters, and wiring replacements.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
• Assemble and disassemble mechanical, plumbing, and electrical parts and components as qualified.
• Lead line change-overs and verify proper function and quality before releasing the line for full production.
• Inventory machine parts, equipment, and supplies so stock can be maintained and replenished.
