Job summary

MaximaTek is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Engineer with 0–3 years of experience to support operations, improve processes, and help ensure safe, high-quality production.

The role involves day-to-day production support, process analysis, Lean initiatives, root-cause analysis, and collaboration with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams.

A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering is required and Excel proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 0–3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, process engineering, or related area.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
  • Knowledge of quality and continuous improvement concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day manufacturing and production operations.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with process optimization, cycle-time reduction, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process procedures.
  • Work with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions for production problems.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance with company standards.
  • Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with equipment installation, testing, and process validation.
  • Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes follow safety and quality requirements.
