Job summary

CCL Industries in Hightstown, NJ is seeking a dependable Junior Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance team in keeping our facility and equipment safe and efficient. This entry-level role offers hands-on training in preventive maintenance, basic repairs, inspections, and general upkeep of building systems.

You will assist senior technicians, learn through on-the-job training, and contribute to timely completion of work orders, while growing your skills in maintenance and facilities

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn maintenance skills.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Preferred: prior maintenance, construction, warehouse, manufacturing experience; technical school/ coursework in maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Assist senior maintenance technicians with equipment installations and larger repair projects.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and completed tasks.
• Participate in training programs to develop technical skills and industry knowledge.
