Job summary

Major engineering company in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Junior Maintenance Planner for an 11–12 month contract. Responsibilities include creating WOs, planning work packages, and ensuring accurate descriptions. Per diem available for out-of-town candidates.

Preferred familiarity with Maximo or similar CMMS; background in electrical/instrumentation is a plus. The role supports maintenance for a Phoenix area power provider.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of planning experience for junior role.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems like Maximo.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage work orders from approved requests (WOs and CARs).
• Plan work packages in line with Maintenance Work Package Procedure.
• Coordinate with storekeepers to verify material availability and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with NERC CIP regulations for cyber-related systems.
• Return-to-service and post-maintenance testing plans.
