Karman Industries in Gardena, California, is seeking a motivated early career Machine Controls and Instrumentation Engineer to transform ideas into deployed control systems. You will own PLC programming, instrument selection, process control development, electrical design and integration from day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or aerospace engineering.
• Some experience with computer programming.
• Strong problem-solving instincts and genuine interest in controls engineering; on-site work and occasional travel for commissioning.

Responsabilités

• Translate system requirements into state machines, cause & effect diagrams, and instrument lists.
• Size and select instruments for high pressure and high temperature systems.
• Design electrical schematics and control panels with internal/external partners.
• Program and test PLC/IPC software for machinery.
• Develop HMI dashboards for operator interaction.
• Install, wire, and troubleshoot instruments and control panels.
