Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, principal investing or another analytically rigorous finance role
• Strong financial modeling, valuation and accounting skills
• Genuine interest in finance, investing and M&A; you enjoy understanding how businesses make money
• Excellent critical thinking and business judgment
• Intellectual curiosity about markets and transaction dynamics
• Resourceful and self-directed; comfortable taking ambiguous questions
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple workstreams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable interfacing with senior executives

Responsibilities

• Evaluate acquisition, investment and strategic opportunities through financial modeling, valuation and due diligence
• Analyze target-company financials and coordinate across internal teams and external advisors
• Develop perspectives on opportunities and risks and translate analysis into concise recommendations
• Support transactions through the full deal lifecycle from initial evaluation to closing
• Interact with management, investors, bankers and other counterparties
• Conduct market and industry analysis to identify trends and opportunities
• Improve analytical tools and processes, including use of technology and AI
