Job summary

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Dispatching and data entry skills required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) required.
• Bachelor's degree or 1 year of logistics/transportation/dispatch experience preferred.
• Experience in trucking, transportation, 3PL, brokerage, or fleet operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage shipments from assignment through delivery.
• Monitor load boards to ensure timely coverage.
• Source and secure carrier capacity within rate guidelines.
• Maintain shipment status updates in the TMS.
• Escalate unresolved concerns with documented action steps.
• Serve as primary contact for carriers and transportation providers.
• Balance carrier needs, customer expectations, and profitability.
• Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
