Position Overview:

We are looking for a Junior Litigation Attorney to join our growing team, with a focus on Employment Law and Personal Injury. This position will begin as a remote role, but the ideal candidate will eventually transition to an in-person role in Canton, OH. There will also be travel involved as we have clients statewide. • Salary Range: $74,500 - $95,000 (inclusive of bonuses)

• The full cost of bar dues and Continuous Legal Education will be covered

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel and representation for clients in employment law and personal injury cases.
• Manage cases from start to finish, ensuring each step is handled with care and expertise.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court as needed.
• Provide support to the firm’s senior litigation team on various case-related tasks and proceedings.
• Work closely with the team to contribute to the firm’s growth and success.
• Live and promote the firm’s core values of compassion, teamwork, and growth.
• Must be able to travel extensively within Ohio as needed to respond to case assignments statewide.

Qualifications

• Barred in Ohio (Required)
• Also barred in West Virginia or willing to become barred in WV (Preferred)
• Keenan Trial Institute training and knowledge are a plus.
• Strong interest and experience in Employment Law and Personal Injury.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
• Excellent communication, writing, and negotiation skills.
• A genuine passion for advocating for clients and making a positive impact.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A growth-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.

Compensation

$74,500 - $95,000 yearly
