• Keenan Trial Institute training is preferred.

Job description

A law firm is seeking a Junior Litigation Attorney to join a growing team focused on Employment Law and Personal Injury. This position will initially be remote, with the opportunity to transition to an in-person role in Canton, OH. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality legal services while thriving in a collaborative and growth-driven environment. Travel within Ohio will be required to support clients statewide.

Location:

Canton, OH

Duties:

Provide legal counsel and representation in employment law and personal injury cases

Manage cases from start to finish, ensuring thorough attention to detail and expertise

Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests

Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court as necessary

Collaborate with the senior litigation team on various case-related tasks and proceedings

Promote core values of compassion, teamwork, and growth

Travel statewide within Ohio as needed to support client needs

Requirements:

Licensed to practice law in Ohio (Required)

Additional licensure in West Virginia or willingness to obtain (Preferred)

Keenan Trial Institute training (Preferred)

Strong interest and experience in Employment Law and Personal Injury

Ability to work independently while being an effective team player

Excellent communication, writing, and negotiation skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Growth-oriented mindset with a positive attitude

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Bar admission in West Virginia (Preferred or willingness to obtain)
