Job Overview
A law firm seeks a knowledgeable and client-focused Estate Planning Attorney to join its team and help drive the firm's growth and service excellence. This position centers on providing personalized estate planning and elder law guidance to clients, ensuring their assets are protected and their wishes are carried out. The attorney will work closely with clients, draft tailored legal documents, and lead review sessions to ensure plans align with clients’ goals. This is a remote-first opportunity, with the flexibility to work from home while also having the option to visit one of the firm’s Pennsylvania offices if desired.

Duties
- Draft customized estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and related instruments, using firm-approved templates and legal software.
- Conduct thorough reviews of estate planning documents with clients, providing clear guidance and explanations.
- Maintain client satisfaction as a top priority by addressing questions and resolving any concerns promptly and professionally.
- Serve as a representative of the firm in the community by participating in local boards, committees, and community outreach efforts, as appropriate.
- Collaborate with paralegals and administrative staff to ensure documents are complete and accurate, and cases progress smoothly.
- Hold periodic document review meetings with clients to verify their estate plans reflect their evolving goals and needs.
- Supervise and mentor legal support staff, including paralegals and law clerks.
- Evaluate and recommend process improvements to enhance client service and workflow efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years practicing estate planning and/or elder law, preferably within a law firm focused on these areas.
- Strong client service orientation with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
- Excellent research, drafting, and legal analysis skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-centered environment.
- Comfort with remote work technology, including virtual meetings and case management systems.
- Interest in community engagement and public education on estate planning topics.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Active license to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania, in good standing.
