Job summary

Jobot, a national full-service law firm with a Seattle office, is seeking a junior litigation associate who recently completed a judicial clerkship to join our disputes practice. You will work on a wide range of matters, gaining early responsibility and mentorship from seasoned litigators.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting or combination of clerkship and firm experience.
• Completion of a judicial clerkship required.
• Strong academic credentials and legal writing skills.
• Experience handling substantive research and drafting assignments.
• Exposure to complex litigation matters preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support all phases of litigation, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and other written advocacy.
• Assist with deposition preparation, witness interviews, and case strategy development.
• Participate in client communications and internal strategy discussions.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to support complex matters.
• Manage discrete assignments while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.
