Community College of Baltimore County is seeking a Senior Lifeguard for part-time hours across Catonsville, Dundalk, and Essex campuses. This probationary role lasts six months from hire and requires current Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications. Blood borne Pathogen training will be provided after hire.

The position emphasizes continuous surveillance, safety enforcement, and high-quality customer service in a campus aquatics facility.

Competenze

Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Red Cross Lifeguard Certification is required.
Red Cross First Aid Certification is required.
Red Cross CPR and AED Certification is required.
Blood borne Pathogen training will be provided by CCBC after hire.
Applicant must be at least 18 years old.

Mansioni

Assist Senior Lifeguard Staff in maintaining constant surveillance of patrons in the facility, and act to secure safety in emergencies.
Recognize and respond effectively in emergencies and provide emergency care until EMS arrives.
Present a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
Maintain a high standard of customer service.
Inspect the pool and report unsafe conditions or equipment to supervisor.
Oversee handling of identification cards as well as health, incident and waiver forms.
Prepare and maintain activity reports (e.g., health surveys, sign-in sheets).
Enforce pool policies, rules, and regulations.
