Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking an Agile Developer 1 to support modernization of a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. This role contributes to microservices development, AWS-native services, REST services, and CI/CD in a collaborative Agile environment.

Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 3 years of relevant experience or 1 year with a Master's.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph, with a CI Polygraph within the last 7 years.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent education/experience.
• 3 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java Spring Boot-based microservices using AWS native technologies.
• Use Python to optimize AWS services like Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, and S3.
• Build REST services with Spring capable of filtering and selecting complex data objects.
• Implement CI/CD using Maven, GitLab, and GitOps.
• Support Agile software development and delivery.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
