Job summary

TechSurSolutions, a digital services company based in the DC metropolitan area, is seeking a software engineer to modernize enterprise applications and develop microservices within a Scrum team.

You will work across the full software development lifecycle, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and write automated tests to support TDD and QA. Bachelor's in CS or related field preferred, 2+ years open-source web development. Proficiency in Java/SQL/GoLang and experience with React or Angular is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of open-source web development experience.
• Proficient in Java, SQL, and GoLang.
• Familiar with JUnit, Mockito, Playwright testing frameworks.
• Experience with React or Angular web front-ends.
• Strong understanding of SOA and RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Modernize enterprise applications by re-developing legacy systems using open-source platforms.
• Analyze user requirements and data processing needs.
• Participate in full SDLC within a scrum team.
• Develop and enhance microservice applications.
• Write automated unit tests to support TDD.
• Support QA verification and validation.
• Create/maintain CI/CD pipelines.
