Job summary

Tiye Consulting LLC is seeking a JAVA Engineer to define software requirements and write clean, efficient code across multiple applications. You will run tests to improve system functionality and implement and maintain Java components and frameworks throughout the software development life cycle.

Responsibilities include migrating legacy monolithic applications to modern technologies, designing and developing code with unit tests, and delivering accurate Jira task estimates within Scrum

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a computational field is required.
• 8+ years of experience as a Full Stack Java Engineer.
• Hands-on coding in event-driven, microservices, and legacy monolithic architectures.
• Experience migrating architectures between frameworks.
• Knowledge of scalability options and best practices.
• Ability to quickly evaluate, learn and prototype new technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide development services for interfaces and applications within JIS.
• Migrate legacy monolithic applications to modern technologies.
• Design, develop, and test code; support post-production cycles.
• Prepare reports including weekly project and time reports.
• Develop and maintain Java SOAP/REST APIs and front-end interfaces.
