Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in open-source web development.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, business intelligence, economics, statistics, or mathematics.
• Experience with Java, SQL, and GoLang.
• Experience with test frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Playwright).
• Experience with React or Angular web frameworks.
• Experience with Cucumber and Selenium for test automation.
• Understanding of SOA and RESTful APIs (Web API).
• Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Modernize enterprise applications by redeveloping legacy systems using open-source platforms, tools, and front-end frameworks.
• Analyze user requirements, data inputs/outputs, system configurations, and processing deadlines.
• Participate in a Scrum team across the full SDLC: requirements, design, development, QA, and deployment.
• Develop and modernize existing apps or new enterprise microservices.
• Write automated unit tests to support TDD.
• Support software verification and QA activities.
• Perform code and security scans and remediate findings.
• Create or maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Utilize open-source platforms, tools, databases, front-end frameworks, and middleware to modernize enterprise applications by re-developing legacy systems
• Analyze problems such as user requirements, input data and form, output data and form, available computer configuration, processing and turnaround time requirements
• Be an integral part of a scrum team participating in the full software development lifecycle including requirements, solution design, development, QA, implementation
• Develop, modernize, and make enhancements to an existing application or new enterprise microservice applications
• Write automated unit test cases to support test driven development (TDD)
• Support verification and validation of software by supporting Quality Assurance team
• Perform application and security code scans and support the remediation of scan findings
• Create new or maintain existing CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in open-source web development
• Programming (Java, SQL, GoLang)
• Test Frameworks – Junit, Mockito, Playwright.
• Tools- Eclipse , Visual Studio, Jprofiler, Insomnia, Postman, Git/Github.
• Experience in building websites using JS frameworks such as React or Angular
• Experience in working with test automation tools such as Cucumber and Selenium
• A demonstrated understanding of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) including RESTful Service frameworks (Web API)
• Experience in working with automated deployment tools such as Jenkins
• Experience in Test Driven and Behavior Driven Development frameworks
• Experience working with version control systems such as Git/Github
• Participate in code reviews and learn from feedback on code.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipeline
