Job summary

ViaPlus by VINCI Highways in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Network and Computer Systems Administrator, Level 1 to provide frontline technical support and help manage end-user computing systems, Microsoft 365, and IT assets.

The role involves configuring Windows devices, supporting Teams, performing backups, documenting issues, and assisting with policy compliance. A High School diploma and 1–2 years' desktop support experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of desktop support or help desk experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Help Desk requests and provide frontline support for end‑user computing issues.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade Windows desktops, laptops, printers, and other end‑user equipment.
• Install, configure, and maintain approved end‑user software, including new releases, system upgrades, patches, and fixes.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services and provide support for Microsoft Teams.
• Monitor system backups and assist with system recovery testing activities.
• Perform routine system checks and document findings, issues, and follow‑up actions as needed.
• Support and maintain IT policies and procedures in alignment with company standards and applicable compliance requirements.
• Submit purchase order requisitions for equipment and related IT needs as requested.
• Manage and maintain IT inventory by accurately tracking hardware and software assets, updating records in a timely manner, and maintaining supporting documentation.
• Participate in after‑hours, on‑call, or weekend support as business needs require.
