Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking an Information Technology Systems Administrator I to provide frontline technical support for the company’s IT environment, assisting with hardware, software, and end-user needs that enable daily operations. This role contributes to reliable service delivery by resolving routine issues and supporting deployments.

You will work with the IT team on provisioning, maintenance, and documentation, follow security practices, and help improve service delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum education in IT or related field.
• Less than 1 year of IT support experience.
• Foundational IT knowledge and ITSM familiarity.
• Experience with ITSM tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve first-level technical issues across computers, mobile devices, printers, software and business apps.
• Respond to service requests and troubleshoot routine hardware and software issues.
• Escalate complex issues to IT team members as needed.
• Document service requests and resolutions in the ITSM system.
• Assist with installation, configuration, and deployment of computers and standard software.
• Support onboarding and offboarding with equipment and user accounts.
• Maintain inventory records for hardware, software and assets.
• Assist with routine system maintenance and endpoint support.
• Follow IT security policies and procedures while supporting operations.
• Build productive relationships with end users and IT teammates.
