Job summary

CesiumAstro in Westminster, MD is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Systems Administrator I to provide frontline technical support for our IT environment, assisting with hardware, software, and end-user technology needs to enable day-to-day operations.

You will resolve first-line issues, document requests, aid deployments, onboard/offboard employees, and maintain asset inventories in a collaborative, fast-paced space tech setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in information technology or related field.
• Less than 1 year of IT support or help desk experience.
• Foundational knowledge of computer hardware, OS, software, and devices.
• Experience with ITSM tools and productivity applications.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve first-level IT issues across computers, mobile devices, printers, software and apps.
• Respond to service requests and troubleshoot routine hardware/software issues.
• Document requests, resolutions, and activities in the service system.
• Assist with installation, configuration, and deployment of equipment and software.
• Support onboarding/offboarding and maintain asset inventories.
• Follow IT policies and security practices in daily operations.
