Job summary

SOC LLC is seeking an IT Specialist Junior for a long-term contract role in Parris Island, SC. The ideal candidate must possess an Active DOD Secret Clearance and CompTIA Security+ CE. The role includes installing, servicing, and maintaining IT systems, as well as troubleshooting and resolving hardware issues.

Candidates with some desktop support and IT troubleshooting experience are encouraged to apply. This is an immediate start position with a multi-year contract offered.

Qualifications

• Must have Active DOD Secret Clearance.
• Must have CompTIA Security+ CE certification.
• Experience in IT troubleshooting and desktop support.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain IT systems in various environments.
• Integrate multiple Information Systems in a networked environment.
• Evaluate and resolve customer IS problems.
• Effect required hardware upgrades and repairs.
• Install and troubleshoot wireless hubs, routers, and switches.
• Install, optimize, and troubleshoot LAN and BAN.
