Job summary

Squeeze Technology, Inc. is seeking an early-career data engineer/analyst to build and support data integrations and ETL workflows.

You will work with APIs, SQL, and Python to move and shape data across systems, and help prepare data for AI use with tagging and cleaning techniques. You will create dashboards in Power BI, communicate requirements to clients and teammates, and document processes for ongoing maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or closely aligned coursework.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with relational databases.
• Familiarity with Python or a similar language for scripting and data manipulation.
• Exposure to ETL/ELT concepts and building data workflows.
• Familiarity with APIs, RESTful services, and JSON/XML formats.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Clear communication skills to explain technical topics to diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools quickly.
• Preferred experience with ETL/ELT pipelines in production and cloud platforms like Azure.

Responsibilities

• Build and support integrations between business applications using APIs and automation.
• Assist with ETL workflows in Azure Data Factory to move and reshape data.
• Write SQL to extract, transform, and validate data and identify anomalies.
• Prepare data for AI use by cleaning, structuring, and tagging datasets.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and reports addressing real business questions.
• Communicate requirements clearly with customers and teammates.
• Document work and adhere to version control and deployment practices.
• Ask questions, seek feedback, and expand scope as skills grow.
• Support ongoing integrations and dashboards for clients as you advance.
• Move into AI-enabled work, new platforms, and larger projects over time.
