Silverthorne Advisory Group LLC is seeking a Data Integration Engineer to support defense sector clients, focusing on data movement across source systems, transformation layers, and reporting platforms. You will collaborate with engineers, finance teams, and program management to stabilize data pipelines and improve reliability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in enterprise data integration or related technical initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• Experience/development of APIs, ETL/ELT, batch processing or middleware.
• Working knowledge of SQL for querying and validating data.
• Familiarity with source-to-target validation and data quality analysis.
• Experience with SIT/UAT, production deployments, and post-production support.
• Understanding of enterprise integration patterns and interface controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, test, and maintain enterprise data integrations for OneStream, ERP platforms, and financial reporting systems.
• Define integration requirements, interface controls, source-to-target mappings, and transformation logic.
• Develop, test, and validate batch integrations, APIs, file transfers, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud-based data movement.
• Validate end-to-end data movement across source systems, staging environments, transformation layers, and reporting platforms.
• Perform source-to-target validation to verify data completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and traceability.
• Execute three-way reconciliations to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
• Troubleshoot interface failures, schema changes, and data processing errors; document root causes with senior engineers.
• Synchronize master data, reference data, metadata, mappings, and key attributes for reliable reporting.
