Job summary

Eurofins USA Consumer Product Testing in Norwood, MA seeks a Junior IT Networking Professional to support day-to-day technology operations. You will set up computers, manage basic network configurations, and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues on a full-time schedule.

Responsibilities include assisting with network infrastructure, providing first-level Windows/Microsoft support, updating IT documentation, and offering in-person, phone, or remote assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science preferred.
• CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a plus.

Job Description

We're looking for a motivated Junior IT Networking Professional to join our team and support day-to-day technology operations. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for setting up computers, managing basic network configurations, supporting Microsoft-based systems, and resolving a range of hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

Junior IT Networker responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Set up, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers for new and existing users
• Troubleshoot internet connectivity and application-related issues
• Provide first-level support for Windows-based systems and Microsoft applications
• Maintain and update IT documentation as needed
• Assist in the maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and access points

Basic Minimum Education Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science degree preferred
• Optional: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a plus

Basic Minimum Work Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in an IT support or networking role (or equivalent education)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Office 365
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Additional Information

Position is full-time working Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:0pm, additional hours as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Norwood, MA are encouraged to apply.
