Job summary

Micro-Tronics INC in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Junior System Administrator to support and maintain our IT infrastructure, including hardware, networks, and cloud-based systems. This role provides hands‑on technical support and helps ensure reliable day‑to‑day IT operations.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of IT experience, familiarity with Windows environments, Microsoft 365/Azure, and basic network troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years IT support or sysadmin experience
• Experience with Windows environments and basic network administration
• Familiarity with Wi‑Fi/network troubleshooting
• Exposure to Microsoft 365 and/or Azure
• VMware experience is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Clear communication with both technical and non‑technical users

Responsibilities

• Provide end‑user support through a ticketing system, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
• Diagnose root causes, implement solutions, and document resolutions clearly
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or external vendors as needed
• Maintain and support desktops, laptops, printers, phones, and other IT equipment
• Assist with administration of Microsoft 365, Azure, and other SaaS/cloud platforms
• Support Windows Server environments, user accounts, and system access
• Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software
• Monitor systems to ensure updates, patches, and security measures are in place
• Perform inventory tracking of IT assets and equipment
• Assist with disaster recovery processes including backups for virtual machines, files, email, and cloud systems
• Provide basic training and guidance to end users when needed
