Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking an IT Specialist to review, analyze, and improve business systems, delivering solutions that meet needs across projects. You will lead smaller IT initiatives, test quality, and act as the on-site representative for deployments.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, the ability to support applications, and occasional travel to properties. A background in IT and Office tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a computer science discipline or comparable experience preferred.
• One year of experience in a similar position strongly preferred.
• Must have experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products.
• ITIL V3 Awareness training preferred.
• Must have strong organizational, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Must have strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Some travel may be required based on business needs, project requirements, and workload.
• Participation in a weekly rotating on-call schedule for after-hours, weekend, and holiday support is required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and processes and deliver technology solutions that meet business needs.
• Serve as project leader for smaller-scale IT projects.
• Perform quality assurance testing for assigned projects.
• Serve as the on-site IT representative for project implementations.
• Travel to Boyd Gaming properties, as required, based on business needs, project requirements, and workload.
• Participate in a weekly rotating on-call schedule to provide required after-hours, weekend, and holiday support.
• Support assigned business applications and assist with issue resolution.
