Job summary

UF Information Technology (UFIT) is seeking an entry level IT Application Developer to join the Applications, Development and Integrations Team, a unit within UFIT.

You will participate in the full software development life cycle, meet with customers to analyze requirements, propose solutions, create design specifications and prototypes, develop and test new code and document solutions. You will perform enhancements and help maintain existing applications.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or high school diploma with two years of relevant experience.
• College coursework or vocational training may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Meet with analysts to gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements.
• Devise and propose solutions for new projects and ERP enhancements.
• Develop and test new code that maintains ERP integrity.
• Develop efficient SQL within the ERP system.
